Location: the hotel was really close to the centre of town and the surrounding areas. We could drink something at Bistrot Saint Vernier, located 1 km away.

Ideal location for our purpose.
We were not advised that the restaurant would closed. A group of bikers had taken over. Unfortunately the weather was very hot with high humidity and no air con. Didn't sleep well! The restaurant Le Caveau d'Arbois, nearby, was a welcome relief.

A very well run hotel with great beds and spacious rooms. There were plenty of wall sockets for us to recharge our electronic items..cameras phones etc. Meals were excellent.

Clean, friendly staff, welcoming hotel, conveniently on a main route through the area - just what you need after a 800km drive. Room was well insulated from the road noise and we had a peaceful nights sleep. Buffet breakfast was good and well worth the extra for the convenience, if you're back on the road the next day.

The room was very inviting, clean and fresh. The interior was bright and well laid out. The bathroom was clean and fairly spacious. The bed was comfortable. Altogether our stay was enjoyable and positive. I had read reviews that were less than complimentary, but I found none of the criticisms to be valid. It was one of the best lodging experiences of our vacation.
There were very few choices of places to stay that were within my price and location range. The reviews appearing on Booked.net caused me some concern about various issues. None of the criticisms were valid for me as my experience at the hotel was totally positive.

Pleasant spacious room and just a lovely hotel.
No provision for dinner Sunday evening, which judging by the hotel itself would be a very enjoyable. We stayed only the one night.

We used the rooms on our way to the Vercors so we did not visit the neighbourhood. For a 1 night stay this hotel was very good including a very good breakdfast.

I was able to sleep, minimum noise.
No English at Reception, confusion about Wi Fi.......when I checked in, asked for Wi-Fi password. Gave me a number and stapled it into my folio. Would not work, turned out to be the code for the entrance door. Called desk, could not understand me. Walked down to desk with computer, oH! Wee fee. Number she gave me did not work. Manager finally came, tried two more before they worked. The receptionist was not helpful or friendly. She was very upset with me, thru scissors, slammed around-said wee fee very important. I responded yes, important for my business. Worst property in my 5 weeks in France. View of overgrown grounds.
